Terminator Salvation Review

First off, I loved this movie. I thought it was well thought out, well executed and well filmed. McG has a directorial touch that doesnt come along often. The way the similar story of the machines technology backfiring and causing their plans to go awry, this one is the best yet in the series.

I'm really tired of the bad media play this movie gets. I hear things like the critics didn't like it, the fans hate it, and it didn't do too well.

In fact, two of those are wrong. It did get a return at the box office and showed a profit. Somehow though, the films producers went bankrupt and are planning on selling the rights to the Terminator franchise. This is not the first time this has happened with the same exact people in charge. They have gone bankrupt after the last 3 Terminator films. This makes me think Mario Kassar should not be let anywhere near the Terminator franchise ever again. It's time for someone pick up the rights and treat the franchise right.

I wrote this a while back and never posted it. Since then I have done some research and found out Terminator changed hands again and is now owned by the company that helped finance Salvation. They used allegedly shady business practices to make the Terminator rights theirs. Here's to hoping we get a T5!
